I just published a 3,000 word essay on practical uses of public records laws
(FOIA and state-level equivalents) on www.doingfreedom.com

Titled "Sunshine Laws: Exposing anti-freedom illegality and stupidity for
fun and profit", it covers how Nadja and I trashed the Million Mom March,
how GOAL of Mass. embarrassed the heck out of their Attorney General (this
is the funniest bit!) and how I've been digging into CCW abuses.  It's
designed to show people that this isn't just possible, it's actually easy,
doesn't take a lawyer and can net huge results.

While the examples shown are all more or less gun-related, the possible uses
go WAY beyond that into land use issues, perjury of all sorts, gov't racism,
you name it.
