you give crack a unix passwd file and it will
attempt to figure out all the passwords
in the file.

from what i understand it works rather well.
now that you can buy $100 intel chips that
run circles around the multi-million dollar
mainframes we worked on in the past it makes
security go down the drain rather quickly.
