every weekend the tempe bike cops break state and city laws while cruzing down the sidewalks of mill avenue protecting the royal downtown court yard.
the tempe cops often peddle their bikes on the wrong side of the street, and with out a headlight and taillight turned on, both violations of state law. the tempe cops also break the tempe law that is clearly posted on signs along mill which makes it illegal to ride a bike on the sidewalk of mill avenue in down tempe.
now these tempe cops are teaching the kids at asu a lesson in bike saftey by writting them tickets for riding on the wrong side of the street.
the only lessons the kids are going to learn is 1) the tempe cops are a bunch of hypocrites, and 2) the city of tempe is more intersted in shaking them down for their money then their safey.
